Michelle Stein of the women's water polo team and Rory Hie of the men's golf team were named the USC Wells Fargo Student-Athletes of the Week on March 10 for the week of March 3-9.

Stein scored seven goals in USC's road victories over No. 3 California (8-7) and Pacific (18-4). The junior scored three goals against California and four against Pacific and for her efforts was named MPSF's Co-Player of the Week.

Hie won the individual title at the UNLV Southern Highland Collegiate in a tie-breaker to lead the Trojans to a fourth-place finish at the tournament. The sophomore shot a three-round total of 213 to finish in a three-way tie and then won the tournament in the first hole of sudden death with a birdie.
