O.J. Mayo and Heather Oliver were named USC's Wells Fargo Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Dec. 17-23.

Mayo scored 30 points and had 10 assists in USC's wins at home vs. Delaware State and Cal Poly. The freshman hit 68.8 percent of his shots from the floor (11-for-16) and all four of his three-point attempts. He also had 10 assists, seven rebounds and four steals in the two wins.

Oliver led USC to victories over Grambling State and Portland State to capture the Women of Troy Classic held at the Galen Center Dec. 20-21. She was named the MVP of the tournament.

The sophomore scored 21 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and dished out nine assists in the two games. The native of Victoria, Australia made 10 of 15 shots for the week (67 percent).
