THIS SEASON: Ben Brown kept making improvements last season and the Trojans look for him to continue his progress this season.

2007: Had a career-best triple jump of 46-8 (14.22m) on April 28 in the USC-UCLA Dual Meet. Also had a season best in the long jump at the Dual Meet of 21-7 1/2 (6.59m).

PERSONAL: Ben was born on Aug. 19, 1988 in San Diego, Calif. His hobbies include snowboarding, surfing, skateboarding and sculpting. Lists his favorite meal as filte mignon, coconut shrimp, garlic mashed potatoes and lobster bisque. Is a Broadcast Journalism major and a Sculpture minor at USC.
