THIS YEAR: Sophomore Lauren Guerrieri will give the Trojans another top-notch talent in the throws. 2008: Had a season best and PR of 157-1 (47.88) in the discus to place ninth in the Section B finals at the Texas Relays on April 5. She placed second in the discus at the USC-UCLA Dual Meet on May 3 with a discus throw of 155-1. Advanced to the finals in the discus at the Pac-10 Championships, but placed ninth with a throw of 150-7. Threw the discus 152-8 to place 13th at the West Regional. HIGH SCHOOL: Guerrieri attended Davis Senior High in Davis, Calif...She placed third in California in the discus this season, after finishing fourth as a junior...She had a best throw of 155-9, which was the seventh-best by a high school senior in 2007. PERSONAL: Lauren was born on Feb. 4, 1989...Hobbies include baking and horseback riding...Her favorite movie is Shrek and favorite musical artist is Tim McGraw...Her sister Sharron also attended USC...Is a Health Promotion major at USC.
