THIS YEAR: Freshman Trey Henderson is the Canadian youth record-holder in the hammer and will be looked upon to help fill the void left by the graduation of three-time All-American Adam Midles.
USC FOOTBALL: Redshirted as a freshman defensive end on the USC football team in the fall after tearing the meniscus in his right knee in the summer which required surgery. He is believed to be the first Canadian to play football at USC.
HIGH SCHOOL: Henderson prepped at Vancouver College HS where he competed in track, football and basketball. Set the Canadian youth record in the hammer with a throw of 221-0 and was the 2005 BC Junior champion, BC Juvenile champion and Canadian Junior silver medalist...Didn't start throwing the hammer until 2003.
PERSONAL: Trey was born on Oct. 10, 1989...His real first name is Nolan.
