2003
He played in 17 games and made four starts as a 2003 freshman, hitting .308 (8-for-26) with three home runs and eight RBI...his best performance came on April 22 against UC Santa Barbara, going 3-for-4 with a home run and five RBI...in that game, he helped rally the Trojans from a 10-run deficit by hitting a game-tying, three-run homer in the bottom of the ninth and hitting the game-winning RBI infield single in the bottom of the 10th in USC's 13-12 win...went 1-for-2 with a home run and two RBI on May 25 at Washington.
High School
He was a two-time TPX All-American and three-time All-Desert Valley League at Palm Desert (Calif.) High...sidelined for his senior season with a hip injury...batted .415 in his junior season with six home runs, 31 RBI and seven stolen bases...went 5-for-5 in one game, including two home runs (one was the game-winning homer)...member of the National Honor Society.
