2005
Hart, who is also a quarterback on the football team, will open his 2005 junior season as the team's starting third baseman.
2004
After spending the early part of his 2004 sophomore season in the outfield, Hart was switched to the infield and became the team's starting third baseman, making 34 starts (44 total in 51 appearances)...led the Trojans with a .367 batting average (58-for-158)...also had nine doubles, three triples, two home runs and 29 RBI...during the team's eight-game road trip during Spring Break, he led the team with a .476 average (10-for-21), including a 3-for-4 day on March 20 at South Alabama where he hit two doubles with a bases-loaded triple and career-high four RBI in a 12-7 win...had a season-high 10-game hitting streak from March 17-April 3, batting .429 (15-for-35) with seven RBI....recorded six three-hit games during the season...went 3-for-5 with a double, home run and three RBI on May 2 at UCLA...had a 3-for-5 game with two RBI on May 21 at Stanford.
2003
As a 2003 redshirt freshman, Hart made 22 starts in 42 appearances as a right fielder...he batted .238 with a home run and four RBI...hit his first collegiate home run on April 26 at Oregon State.
2002
Hart redshirted in his 2002 freshman season.
USC Football
He did not see action as a reserve quarterback in 2003 and 2004 and was a reserve quarterback as a 2002 redshirt freshman, playing on the punt return team against Washington and taking a snap at quarterback at the end of the UCLA game...won USC's Service Team Offensive Player of the Year Award in his 2001 freshman season for his work running the scout team offense in practice.
High School
He played shortstop and center field at Mission Viejo (Calif.) High...also the starting quarterback on the football team...earned All-American and All-South Coast League honors as a quarterback...member of the honor roll with a 4.2 GPA.
