St. John should get playing time as a starting outfielder for the Trojans this season as a sophomore.
Summer
He played for the Santa Barbara Foresters squad that won the 2008 NBC World Series in Wichita, Kansas...he batted .307 (27-for-88) with five doubles, two triples, five home runs, 21 RBI and three stolen bases.
2008
As a freshman, St. John made six starts in 23 games and batted .208 (5-for-24) with two RBI and three stolen bases...had a 1-for-2 performance on May 14 at UC Riverside...recorded two RBI on March 9 at Winthrop.
High School
He was a three-year varsity letterwinner at Corona del Mar High in Newport Beach, Calif., under coach John Emme...earned all-league second team honors in his senior season as well as being named to the Daily Pilot Dream Team...batted .306 with 16 stolen bases as a senior and had a 3.47 ERA on the mound...earned All-CIF second and all-league first team honors in his junior season after batting .400...during his junior season, he tied for the CIF Division III and league lead with 16 stolen bases.
