He played for the Rockville Express of the Cal Ripken, Sr., Collegiate Baseball League...went 2-3 with a 2.66 ERA, making eight starts in nine appearances...in 40 2/3 innings, he allowed 31 hits with 12 walks, 32 strikeouts and a .203 opponents' batting average...played in the All-Star Game.
Claremont McKenna College
He pitched for coach Randy Town at Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, Calif...threw a complete game with 15 strikeouts in the 2007 season finale...earned a 3.17 grade-point-average.
