LOS ANGELES -- Junior catcher/designated hitter Keith Castillo and junior outfielder Mike O'Neill were selected for the 2008 Northwoods League All-Star Game this week. Castillo leads the Alexandria Beetles with a .331 batting average and three home runs. The game will be broadcast live on ESPNU at 5 p.m. Pacific next Monday (July 14).

He is 39-for-118 for the Beetles with eight doubles, seven RBI and four stolen bases.

Castillo batted .242 in 17 starts and 30 games last season as a sophomore for the Trojans.

O'Neill is batting .319 (45-for-141) for the Thunder Bay Border Cats and leading the team with 14 doubles. He has two triples, 18 RBI and nine stolen bases.

Last season as a sophomore, O'Neill batted .213 for the Trojans and made nine starts in 25 games.
