LOS ANGELES -- USC junior shortstop Grant Green (Anaheim Hills/Canyon HS) and junior pitcher Brad Boxberger (Tustin/Foothill HS) each played a key role in the East Division's 8-6 win Saturday at the 2008 Cape Cod Baseball League All-Star Game. Green hit a game-tying two-run homer while Boxberger threw a perfect ninth to earn the save.

Green's homer was part of a seven-run eighth as the East team rallied, but according to the CCBL website, it will probably be his most memorable home run in his career. A trio of streakers hit the field during Green's at-bat and halted the game. After the streakers came off the field, Green hit the home run on the next pitch.

"I just started busting up," Green said of the three unclothed males. "It was the funniest thing I've ever seen in a baseball game."

Green earned East Division most valuable player honors.
