LOS ANGELES -- The 14th annual USC Baseball Classic Golf Tournament to benefit the Trojan baseball program will take place on Monday (Nov. 17) at the Pelican Hill Golf Club in Newport Coast. Registration and check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start scheduled for 10 a.m.

Mercedes-Benz of Laguna Niguel will continue its title sponsorship of the event.

Funds generated from the event will be used towards the USC baseball program.

The cost is $475 per person or $1,900 for a foursome. The entry fee includes continental breakfast, lunch, deluxe tee prizes, closest to the pin and longest drive contests, golfing with a celebrity in each group and post-tournament awards dinner.

Past participants/celebrities who have participated include: Aaron Boone, Jeff Cirillo, Beau Craig, Rik Currier, Morgan Ensberg, Seth Etherton, Tom Gamboa, Tom House, John Jackson, Jacque Jones, Marcel Lachemann, Mark Loretta, Eric Munson, Mark Prior, Murph Proctor, Anthony Reyes and Steve Smyth. Other past USC baseball and Major League Baseball players will play in this year's tournament.
