LOS ANGELES -- The 14th annual Rod Dedeaux Baseball Golf Classic Celebration Dinner will take place on Monday (Nov. 17) at 6 p.m. at the Newport Sports Museum in Newport Beach. The dinner, named "Honoring The 8's", will recognize five USC national championship baseball squads: 1948, 1958, 1968, 1978 and 1998.

Players from those five teams are asked to RSVP to Samantha Tulin at tulin@usc.edu or by calling (213) 740-4155 by November 10. The dinner will cost $35 for guests. A reception will begin at 5 p.m. with the dinner starting at 6 p.m.

The Newport Sports Museum is located at 100 Newport Center Drive, Suite 100 in Newport Beach.
