Overall in 2008 while appearing in 12 games (all but Ohio State), he made 5 tackles, including 0.5 for a loss. 2007: Garratt appeared in 5 games (Idaho, Washington State, Washington, Notre Dame and Illinois) on special teams as a sophomore walk-on linebacker in 2007, but did not make a tackle. 2006: Garratt appeared in 4 games (Stanford, Oregon, California and Michigan) as a reserve linebacker and on special teams as a redshirt freshman walk-on in 2006. Overall, he made 1 tackle (versus Michigan). 2005: Garratt redshirted as a reserve freshman walk-on linebacker in 2005, his first year at USC. HIGH SCHOOL: He prepped at South Tahoe High in South Lake Tahoe (Calif.). PERSONAL: He's a history major at USC with a B- average (2.90 GPA).
