Three former Trojan football players are playing in the Arena Football League this season, including a pair with the Los Angeles Avengers.
Avenger fullback Lonnie Ford is L.A.'s all-time leading rusher wth 699 yards in his 6 seasons. He is on the verge of becoming the ninth player in AFL history to reach the 700-yard plateau.
Kicker David Davis is a rookie with the Avengers after playing 4 seasons in arenafootball2 (the AFL's developmental league). He scored 11 points in his AFL debut last week.
Wide receiver/defensive back John Walker is a rookie with the New York Dragons.
