Bill Fisk Sr., who was a member of USC's 1939 national championship football team and played on a pair of Rose Bowl-winning teams, died on March 27 in Corona del Mar, Calif. He was 90.

No services are planned.

Fisk was a 3-year (1937-39) letterman end for USC. He helped the Trojans defeat 2 previously unbeaten and unscored upon teams in Pasadena: Duke in the 1939 Rose Bowl and Tennessee in the 1940 Rose Bowl. He was named Troy's Most Inspirational Player in 1939 and played in the 1940 College All-Star Game.

He was a third round draft pick of the Detroit Lions in 1940 and played professionally 7 years for the Lions (1940-43), San Francisco 49ers (1946-47) and Los Angeles Dons (1948).

He then returned to USC as an assistant football coach for 8 seasons (1949-56).

After coaching at USC, he worked in the aerospace industry.

He is survived by his wife, Grace, and sons Bob and Bill Jr., plus 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Bob played end at USC in 1960. Bill was an All-American offensive guard at USC in 1964 who lettered for 3 seasons (1962-64) and then was the long-time football coach at Mt. San Antonio College. Like his father, Bill Jr. was a member of a USC national championship team (1962) and a winning Trojan Rose Bowl squad (in the 1963 Rose Bowl).
