Three more USC football players were selected in the 2008 NFL draft on Sunday (April 27), bringing the number of Trojans who were chosen this year to a national-best 10.

On the draft's second day, quarterback John David Booty was a fifth round pick of the Minnesota Vikings (137th overall selection). Linebacker Thomas Williams also went in the fifth round, chosen by the Jacksonville Jaguars (155th pick).

Tailback Chauncey Washington also was drafted by the Jaguars, going in the seventh round (213rd pick).

In head coach Pete Carroll's 7 years at USC, he now has had 42 players drafted by the NFL, including 11 in the first round.

In its history, USC has had 446 players drafted by the NFL.
