ESPN's "College GameDay," the popular college football pre-game show featuring Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Lee Corso, will originate from outside the soldout Coliseum this Saturday (Oct. 9) prior to the key Pac-10 matchup between No. 1-ranked USC and No. 7 California.

This will be "College GameDay's" first visit to a USC home game.

The show will begin with a taped segment at 7 a.m. PT for ESPN's "SportsCenter," then will go live from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. PT from a stage set up just outside the peristyle (east) end of the Coliseum. After the 12:30 p.m. PT USC-California game, the show will resume with "Scoreboard" and "SportsCenter" segments until 9 p.m. PT.

Fans are encouraged to watch the show in person both before and after the game-and appear in the frequent televised crowd shots-as Fowler, Herbstreit and Corso talk about the day's games. There will be a large video board on the set showing live coverage of games on ESPN and ESPN2.
