USC junior wide receiver Dwayne Jarrett, who caught 3 touchdown passes against Notre Dame, was named the Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Week for his performance.

Jarrett equaled a career-best with his 3 scoring catches: 9, 5 and 43 yards, the last after bouncing off a defender and outracing 4 others. Overall in the game, he grabbed 7 passes for 132 yards (both game highs), including an amazing one-handed catch.

On the year, he has 55 receptions for 742 yards (13.5 average) and 10 touchdowns. He currently is 22nd nationally in receptions (5.5, second in Pac-10).

Jarrett, a 2005 All-American first teamer and Biletnikoff Award finalist, is tied for third on USC's career receptions chart with 201 and needs just 6 catches to equal Trojan leader Keary Colbert. His 39 career TD catches are a Pac-10 record. His 2,865 career receiving yards are fourth on USC's all-time list.

He has 12 100-yard receiving games in his career (including 3 in 2006 and 5 in 2005) and he has caught a pass in all 36 games he has played in his career (he sat out the 2006 Washington State game with a shoulder injury), with a TD reception in 24 of those contests.

Also named Pac-10 Players of the Week with Jarrett this week were a pair of Oregon State players, defensive tackle Ben Siegert (defense) and placekicker Alexis Serna (special teams).
