GLISSMEYER SO FAR THIS SEASON
Junior Tom Glissmeyer is posted a stroke average of 72.75 in four fall events, which included a tie for seventh at the Isleworth-UCF Collegiate Invitational (73-70-70-213). He also tied as USC's top finisher at the Inverness Intercollegiate, tying for 14th, and tied for 16th at The Ping/Golfweek Fall Preview.

2006-2007
Glissmeyer, as a 2007 sophomore, ranked among the top 100 players in the country last year, finishing third on the team with a stroke average of 72.53 ... Glissmeyer, a 2007 All-Pac-10 honorable mention selection, had 11 rounds in the 60s, including two in the NCAA Championships final ... He posted four top 10 finishes and five in the top 20, including a season best fifth at the season-opening Inverness Intercollegiate. He also tied for fifth at the UH Hilo Intercollegiate with a 201 (66-66-69), USC's top score of the event. The three sub-70 rounds gave him five straight at the time ... Glissmeyer tied for ninth at the Pac-10 Championships with a four-round, 3-under 285 (73-70-71-71) and then tied for 40th at the NCAA West Regional with a 6-under 210 (73-69-68) ... Glissmeyer also tied for 12th at the CordeValle Collegiate after back-to-back 69s to close out the tournament and tied for eighth at the General Jim Hackler Championship with a 213 (67-68-78) ... He was also named a 2007 Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention selection.
2005-2006
Glissmeyer competed in five events as a 2006 freshman, including a strong showing at the Pac-10 Championships, where he tied for 31st (295). That finish included a season-low 71 and a pair of 73s, among his lowest rounds of the season ... His next best finish was a tie for 35th at the U.S. Intercollegiate by the Maple Fund (150).
HIGH SCHOOL
Glissmeyer won the Colorado 4-A high school boys golf title in both 2003 and 2004 while prepping at Cheyenne Mountain High in Colorado Springs, Colo. He led his school to its first-ever state team title in 2004. He qualified for the 2003 U.S. Open at the age of 16 and qualified for the U.S. Amateur in 2003 and 2004 (advancing to match play each time). He also made it to match play at the 2004 U.S. Junior Championship. He is ranked the top player in Colorado and is an American Junior Golf Association All-American ... Besides his athletic achievements, he was ranked first in his class at Cheyenne Mountain with a weighted 4.5 grade point average.

Born Dec. 19, 1986. An economics major, he is the son of Garry and Janet Glissmeyer and has one sister, Liz.
