Sophomore Matt Giles finished fourth and junior Jamie Lovemark tied for 10th to lead the No. 2 USC men's golf team on the final day of the 2008 Isleworth-UCF Collegiate Invitational on Tuesday (Oct. 28) at the Isleworth Golf and Country Club in Windermere, Fla.

USC finished fifth at 30-over 894 (290-289-315). Round-two leader Georgia finished first (867) and was followed by Alabama (884), Indiana (886), Texas Tech (888) and USC.

Giles, in his first event of the season, posted his second-best finish as a Trojan, finishing fourth at 1-under 215 (72-69-74). He had three birdies on the day, finishing as the top Trojan during a round marred by inclement weather.

Lovemark tied for 10th at 2-over 218 (75-68-75). He posted his second eagle in as many days on the par 5 7th hole and also birdied the 10 hole.

Senior Ryan Linton tied for 64th at 17-over 233 (72-80-81), senior Tim Glissmeyer tied for 67th at 18-over 234 (71-78-75) and sophomore Tim Sluiter tied for 75th at 20-over 236 (76-74-86).
