Dec. 27, 2007

Mark your calendars! On February 15, 2008, the USC Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) presents the House of Troy Charity Gala: BUILDING TRADITIONS. The Gala is a semi-formal event which includes dinner, a silent auction and a short program. All proceeds from the event will go directly to the construction of a Habitat for Humanity house in the Greater Los Angeles area. The Gala will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 15.

The construction of the house will be jointly undertaken by USC student-athletes and the USC campus chapter of Habitat for Humanity. This project will be a great way for student athletes to give back to the community that has become an intricate part of their experience at USC. The theme of the event is Building Traditions. This promises to be a fantastic night with well over 600 guests in attendance.

Tickets for the event will be sold for $75 per person and tables of 10 are available for $675. All ticket purchases must be made through the USC ticket office at (213) 740-GOSC (4672). The event will be held at the Omni Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
