THIS SEASON: Freshman Dillon Connolly comes to USC as one of the top breaststrokers in the country. He will challenge for a spot on the Trojan relays and has the potential for big things at the Pac-10 and NCAA Championships. HIGH SCHOOL: A graduate of Sprayberry High in Marietta, Ga., Connolly is an Olympic Trials qualifier in the 100m and 200m breast and the 200m IM ... At the 2007 U.S. Spring Nationals, he was fourth in the 100m breast (1:03.88) and seventh in the 200m breast (2:20.12) and was by far the youngest competitor in both finals heats. He was also 11th in the 200m IM (2:08.09), 20th in the 400m IM (4:35.10) and swam in the 50m free ... At the 2006 U.S. Summer Nationals, he was 13th in the 100m breast (1:03.61) and 11th in the both the 200m breast (2:18.26) and 200m IM (2:05.45). He also swam in the 400m IM ...
