THIS SEASON: Freshman Steven Starks, one of the top prep diving recruits in the country, will provide dual meet scoring help and should be a key point scorer at the conference level and beyond.

HIGH SCHOOL: Starks prepped at Mission Viejo (Calif.) High, where he was the 2006 Division I CIF champion and runner-up in 2007 ... Third at the 2007 Southern Section Masters, Starks won the 2007 USA Diving Region 9 Championships on both 1-meter and 3-meter springboard ... A 2004-05-06 NISCA All-American first teamer on 1-meter ... A multiple U.S. national competitor, he took third on tower at the 2006 England-U.S. Challenge and did the same at the China-Canada-U.S. Challenge in 2005.
