USC sophomore Michael Hilde and Hawaii's Qiongjie Huang were both winners on the first day of the Trojan Diving Invitational on Friday (Nov. 5) at USC's McDonald's Swim Stadium.

Hilde won the men's 1-meter springboard (637.25) while Huang won the women's 3-meter springboard (519.60). Stanford's Adam Peterson (584.15) was second on 1-meter while USC's sophomore Kenny Jenkins (571.65) was third. USC senior Ray Vincent was fourth (55.490).

Stanford's Ashlee Rosenthal (511.00) was a close second on 3-meter to Huang while Nevada's Devon Owen (470.65) was third.

The meet continues on Saturday (Nov. 6) at 10 a.m. with men's 3-meter and women's 1-meter. Men's and women's platform follows the springboard competition.
