USC junior Zoltan Povazsay has been named the Pac-10 Men's Swimmer of the Month for November, the conference announced on Thursday (Dec. 4).

Povazsay helped USC open the season with a 159.5-126.5 win over Notre Dame. The Dunakeszi, Hungary native won the 500y free with a time of 4:31.48 and tied for first in the 200y free touching in at 1:39.88.

In USC's upset over defending national champion Arizona, Povazsay placed first in the 500y free with a time of 4:25.48 for the Trojans. In USC's win over Arizona State he finished second in the 200 free with a time of 1:39.06.

This is the first monthly honor for Povazsay and the third Men's Swimmer of the Month for USC.
