Prep diving standouts Michela Fossati-Bellani of Palo Alto, Calif.,, Victoria Ishimatsu of Seal Beach, Calif., and Harrison Jones of Spring, Texas, have signed letters of intent with USC, head diving coach Hongping Li announced on Wednesday (Dec. 12).

Fossati-Bellani, a Junior Olympic Italian team member, preps at Palo Alto (Calif.) High, where she the two-time CIF Central Coast Section diving champion. A six-time Italian national champion, she has competed extensively internationally.

Ishimatsu, from Halstrom High in Oceanside, Cailf., won the 1-meter title at the 2007 Junior Pan Am Games and the 1- and 3-meter titles at the 2007 U.S. Junior Nationals. She was also second on 1-meter at the 2007 U.S. Senior Nationals.

Jones, from Klein (Texas) High, is a 2007 U.S. Junior National champion on 1-meter and springboard, was third on 1-meter at the 2007 Junior Pan Ams and was second on 1-meter at the 2007 U.S. Senior Nationals.

"All three of our new student-athletes are high caliber divers who will carry on the great tradition of Trojan diving," Li said.
