THIS SEASON: Robert Farah enters his second season at USC... Went 11-4 in singles and 13-3 in doubles during the fall... Held a nine-game singles win streak, reaching the final of the ITA All-American to qualify for the ITA National Indoors... Went 2-2 at the National Indoors... Played doubles with Kaes Van't Hof, winning the ITA West Regional championship and reaching the final of the ITA National Indoors... Ranked No. 9 in the ITA preseason rankings.
2007: Farah didn't lose a singles match during NCAA Team Championships (4-0) in his first year at USC... Earned Pac-10 Honorable Mention ...Played mostly No. 4 singles, going 20-5 in dual matches and 22-7 overall... In doubles played No. 1 and No. 2 with Kaes Van't Hof, going 17-5 in dual matches and 22-7 overall.... Finished the year ranked No. 47 in doubles with Van't Hof... Reached Pac-10 Tournament Round of 16 in singles and reached the doubles final with Van't Hof.
HIGH SCHOOL: Farah is a 2006 graduate of San Andres Apostol in Cali, Colombia... Was the national champion as an under-12 and under-14... Active in beating Uruguay in the Davis Cup... Was No. 3 in South America playing for Colombia and No. 10 in the world as an under-14...
PERSONAL: Robert Farah was born on Jan. 20, 1987 in Montreal, Canada... Son of Eva and Patrick... Has one sister, Romy, who plays tennis at Miami... Lists Roger Federer as his biggest sports hero and "Lost" as his favorite TV show... Enjoys his friends, moveis, restaurants, resting, reading and surfing the internet in his spare time...
