No. 6 USC Men Kick Off NCAA Run At Home

5/6/2008 - USC was awarded the No. 6 seed into the 2008 NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championships, into which the Trojans carry a 19-4 overall record following another powerful regular season. As the high seed in the bracket, USC will play host to three teams at Marks Stadium for the NCAA First and Second Rounds. Spanning the past two seasons of dual match play, USC has lost just once in its past 28 matches at Marks Stadium. The Trojans kick off their NCAA campaign against Southern (10-11) at 12 p.m. on Saturday (May 10) after Boise State (21-11) and California (12-10) have faced off in the other first-round match at 9 a.m. The winners will play in the NCAA Second Round match at 12 p.m. on Sunday (May 11) at Marks Stadium for the right to move on to the Round of 16 and beyond from May 16-20 in Tulsa, Okla.
