USC senior Juan Figueroa was named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Co-Player of the Week based on his performance against Pepperdine last Saturday (April 5).
Figueroa led the Trojans to their first win at Pepperdine since 1999, coming back from a 2-0 deficit in games. He tallied 29 kills at a .392 hitting clip with six digs and two blocks in the upset over the No. 5 Waves.
He shared the honor this week with UC Irvine's Jon Steller.
Figueroa is the second Trojan to earn MPSF Player of the Week honors in 2008, joining Murphy Troy.
