The No. 11-ranked USC men's volleyball team (13-15 overall, 10-12 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation), the eighth seed in the MPSF Tournament, will visit No. 8-ranked and seventh-seeded UC Irvine (15-14, 11-11) on Wednesday (April 16) at 7 p.m. in the MPSF Play-In match. The winner then travels to No. 3 BYU (23-4, 18-4), the tourney's second seed, for an MPSF quarterfinal match on Saturday (April 19) at 7 p.m. USC, which has its most overall and MPSF victories since 2001, is making back-to-back MPSF tourney appearances for the first time since doing so from 1999 to 2001.
