HIGH SCHOOL: Belal was the Texas State MVP in 2007 and was an All-State selection in 2005 and 2006 at Baytown Sterling High... Team won the 2007 state title, finishing 34-1 with Belal scoring 135 goals with 86 steals, 84 assists and 64 earned ejections... Played club for Dirty Bay and Houston WPC... Graduated cum laude.

NATIONAL TEAMS: Belal has been a member of the U.S. Youth and Cadet National teams from 2004-2007... Traveled to Hungary in 2004 and Serbia in 2005.

PERSONAL: Belal is majoring in biological sciences with plans to pursue a medical career... Parents are Belal and Abla... Has two sisters, Nadine and Yasmeen...
