THIS SEASON: Krumpholz's power at two meters is no longer a secret, but teams will still be hard-pressed to control the strong and talented sophomore.

2006: Krumpholz was the team's third leading scorer with 38 goals... Scored in 22 games with 10 multiple-goal efforts... Set a career high with five goals against UC Santa Barbara on Oct. 6... Received All-American Honorable Mention.

NATIONAL TEAMS: Krumpholz is a member of the U.S. National Team, having competed at the 2005 World Championships in Montreal... Also plays on the Junior National Team, recently competing in the 2007 FINA Junior World Championships and placing second at the Low Tatras Cup in Slovakia over the summer... Competed in the 2006 Junior Pan American Games and scoring 13 goals for the USA in the 2005 Junior World Championships... Was the top scorer with 32 goals at the 2006 Junior PanAms, where the USA won gold.

HIGH SCHOOL: Krumpholz was named to the All-CIF First Team as a senior at Foothill High... Named Orange County Register Player of the Year as a senior... Scored 85 goals in 2005... An All-American from 2003-2005... Named 2004 CIF Player of the Year... Won two Premier League titles playing with Los Angeles Water Polo Club.

PERSONAL: Krumpholz has not declared a major... Parents are Kurt and Debra... Has two sisters, Katy and Kari... Father won two NCAA water polo titles as a player at UCLA... Lists Michael Jordan as his biggest sports hero...Birthdate is Sept. 22, 1987.
