USC seniors Allison Jaskowiak Kennedy and Simone Jelks have been honored with Pac-10 All-Academic selections in their final season at Troy. The two Trojan starters excelled academically, earning academic honors the past three seasons. Jaskowiak's All-Academic First Team award makes her just the third Trojan ever to earn first team honors. USC's previous All-Academic First Team honorees were Holly Ford (1988) and Tammy Story (1990-92). Jelks' All-Academic Second Team pick is the highest honor of her USC career after honorable mention selections the past two seasons.

Jaskowiak twice was an All-Academic Second Team selection before being granted a fifth year of eligibility this season. Having received a bachelor's in English language and literature, she currently is pursuing a master's in Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs. Jaskowiak's 4.0 GPA in her master's program earned her this year's Pac-10 All-Academic First Team honor, solidifying her as the first All-Academic First Team pick since Tammy Story garnered her third straight selection in 1992.

Jelks holds a 3.34 GPA as a double major in health promotion and disease prevention and Spanish. A two-time academic honorable mention recipient, Jelks' All-Academic Second Team selection reflects the senior's outstanding contribution to the USC program athletically and academically.

To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.
