Results After 2 Rounds in PDF Format Get Acrobat Reader

Led by sophomore Belen Mozo and freshman Joanne Lee, the No. 4 USC women's golf team finished in second after 36 holes of the 2007 Kent Youel Invitational at the Kapolei G.C. on Tuesday (Oct. 30).

USC finished with a combined 19-over 595 (294-301), 11 strokes back of first-place UCLA (584). Cal is third (600).

Mozo and Lee are among four players tied for fourth at +3 147. Mozo did it was rounds of 71 and 76 while Lee posted rounds of 72 and 75.

Senior Dewi Claire Schreefel is tied for 10th at 5-over 149 (72-77), freshman Lizette Salas is tied for 19th at 8-over 152 (79-73) and sophomore Caroline Kim is tied for 91st at 24-over 168 (81-87).

Competing individually for the Trojans (and not counting toward the team standings), Victoria Alimonda is tied for 44th at 13-over 157 (78-79), senior Stephanie Hickerson is tied for 48th at 14-over 158 (79-79) and junior Shelcie Takenouchi is tied for 69th at 18-over 162 (83-79).

The event finishes with 18 holes on Wednesday (Oct. 31) beginning at 7:30 a.m. (HST).
