USC outgoing two-time All-American Paola Moreno and incoming freshman Jennifer Song both qualified for the 2008 U.S. Women's Open out of a qualifying tournament at The Farms G.C. in Rancho Sante Fe, Calif., on Monday (June 9).

Moreno, who helped guide USC to the 2008 NCAA team title, tied for third at 2-over 148 (73-75) while Song, a South Korea native who will enroll at USC in the fall, got in with a 152 (75-77). Trojan sophomore-to-be Lizette Salas, a 2008 All-American second teamer, is an alternate after finishing with a 153.

The 2008 U.S. Women's Open Championship will be played June 26-29 at Interlachen C.C. in Edina, Minn.
