CORVALLIS, ORE. - The No. 9 USC women's soccer team rounded out the regular season with a pair of road wins, capping off the trip northward with today's 1-0 win at Oregon State. Megan Ohai delivered the game-winner in USC's final Pac-10 match of the year, punching in her fifth goal of the season with a score in the 13th minute of play. That score would stand the rest of the way, as USC boosted its overall record to 15-4-1 and takes a third-place finish in the Pac-10 at 5-3-1.

USC took the lead early on Ohai's strike. The score was set up with some slick passing up top, as Ashley Nick played a long ball in for Ashli Sandoval, who dropped the ball to Ohai for a score that was deflected off the post and in from 20 yards out. Up 1-0 in the 13th minute of play, the USC defense was on call. Oregon State and USC were near matched in shots during the first half, and Trojan goalkeeper Kristin Olsen was called upon for four saves in the half.

In the second half, USC limited the Beavers' opportunities while generating five more shots on goal. As it turned out, Ohai's score was all the Trojans would need, as the USC defense tacked up its 10th shutout of the season to lock away the 1-0 win.

The game-winning goal was Ohai's fifth game-winner of her career, and gave the sophomore a career goal total of 11 scores. Sophomore Sandoval also upped her career assists tally to 19 with her eighth assist of the season. And Kristin Olsen captured her 19th career solo shutout with today's effort.

USC now awaits the seedings and bracket announcement for the coming NCAA Tournament. The selection show is set to air on ESPNews on Monday (Nov. 10) between 5 and 5:30 p.m. PT. NCAA First-Round games will begin on Friday (Nov. 15).
