USC senior Rebecca Soni, who won one gold and two silver medals at the 2008 Olympics, has been nominated for three Golden Goggle Awards, the USA Swimming Foundation announced on Wednesday (Oct. 8) ahead of its fifth-annual USA Swimming awards show.

Soni is nominated for Female Athlete of the Year, Breakout Performer of the Year and Female Performance of the Year, the latter for her gold-medal winning race in the 200-meter breaststroke.

The Golden Goggle Awards show is scheduled for Nov. 17 in New York.

In addition to winning gold in the 200m breast with a world record time, Soni won silver in the 100m breast and the 4x100m medley relay.

The Golden Goggle Awards serve as a fundraiser for the USA Swimming Foundation

Fans can vote at www.GoldenGoggles.com. Online voting is available until Nov. 7.
