THIS SEASON: Lyndsay Kinstler is entering her second year at USC... During the fall, went 3-4 in singles and 4-2 in doubles... Reached the consolation quarterfinals of the ITA Rregionals in singles... In doubles, went 2-1 with Gabriela Niculescu at the Duals in the Desert and 2-1 with Alison Ramos at the ITA Regionals. 2008: Kinstler went 9-7 overall in singles, going 4-0 in dual match play at the No. 5 (1-0) and No. 6 (3-0) positions... Was 10-12 in doubles play with a 9-9 dual match mark playing with Sarah Fansler (5-5) primarily at the No. 3 slot and Lindsey Nelson (4-4) at No. 2... Went 4-4 in singles and 1-3 in doubles during the fall... Went 2-1 at the ITA West Regionals to reach the Round of 16 and 2-2 in the Duals in the Desert. HIGH SCHOOL: Kinstler graduated from Laguna Beach High School in 2007... Considered the No. 7 California recruit... Won the 2005 Roxy Singles, 2003 Easter Bowl Doubles and the 2002 Sport Wall Doubles... Also was a finalist for doubles in the National Hard Courts and was a National Hard Court Champion. PERSONAL: Kinstler was born on December 15, 1988 in Downey, Calif... Daughter of Charles and Linda Kinstler, both of whom also attended USC... Has one brother, Daniel... Her grandfather was a track athlete at Nebraska... A member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority... Lists her favorite movie as Wedding Crashers and favorite TV shows as `Entourage', `Grey's Anatomy' and `Nip/Tuck'... Has not decided on a major.
