OJAI, CALIF. - USC junior Amanda Fink will have a busy Saturday at the Pac-10 Women's Tennis Championships after a winning day in Ojai on Friday. Second-seeded Fink punched her ticket to the singles semifinals with a powerful 6-0, 6-1 win over Cal's Cristina Visico in Friday's quarterfinals. She will face ASU's seventh-seeded Nadia Abdala at 11 a.m. on Saturday in the semifinals. Later in the day, Fink will team back up with Gabriela Niculescu in doubles play, taking on Cal's No. 4 seed Babos/Kusano at 3:30 p.m. in the doubles semis.

Fink/Niculescu tore through today's doubles action as the No. 2 seed in the draw. The USC pair opened with an 8-2 win over Arizona's Masschelein/Steinberg in the Round of 16 and then topped Washington's Anonsen/Chan 8-2 to earn a trip to tomorrow's semifinals.

The two Women of Troy began the day with singles play. Gabriela Niculescu came up against UCLA's Riza Zalameda, seeded No. 4 in the singles competition. Zalameda managed a 7-5, 7-5 win over Niculescu in the morning's quarterfinals. Meanwhile, Fink was piecing together her dominating 6-0, 6-1 win over Visico in her quarterfinal match, securing Fink's trip to Saturday's semi against Abdala. The pair will face off at 11 a.m.
