Hillgren will have big shoes to fill as a 2007 sophomore with a chance to be the team's libero, replacing two-time All-American Debora Seilhamer.
2006
As a defensive specialist in her 2006 freshman season, Hillgren played in 24 matches...recorded four service aces (0.11 sapg) and 18 digs (0.47 dpg) overall...registered a season-high five digs on Aug. 25 against North Texas.

Four-year letterwinner at Francis Parker High in Rancho Santa Fe...played for head coach Eric Sato...named as Parker High's Pepsi most valuable player...earned all-section and all-league honors in her junior and senior seasons...member of the league champions all four years...the team in her freshman, junior and senior seasons won the Division IV San Diego Section championship and was a member of the Division IV state champions in her junior and senior seasons...member of the school's honor roll in three of her four years...earned honors with distinction in her junior year...selected for the San Diego Union Tribune's all-academic team...played five years of club volleyball for Coast under coach Karl Seiler...selected to the 2006 all-tournament team at the 2006 Junior Olympics with her club team finishing second in the division.
