LOS ANGELES -- USC's incoming recruiting class for the 2007 season has been ranked No. 3 in the nation by Volleyball Magazine as released in its August issue. The strength of the class is based on four Volleyball Magazine Fab 50 players: middle blocker Zoe Garrett, outside hitter Kimmee Roleder, libero/outside hitter Geena Urango and middle blocker Lauren Williams.

Garrett and Roleder are currently playing with USC sophomore setter Taylor Carico for the U.S. Junior National Team at the FIVB Junior World Championships in Thailand.

USC opens the 2007 season with the Trojan Invitational (Aug. 24-25) at the Galen Center with a field that includes Michigan State, Loyola Marymount and St. John's. A total of five seniors and 10 letterwinners return from last year's squad that went 27-5 and reached the third round of the NCAA Tournament.
