LOS ANGELES -- Outside hitter Katie Fuller (Olivenhain/La Costa Canyon HS), who signed a letter of intent to play women's volleyball at USC for the 2009 season, has been named to the 2008 Under Armour All-American High School Volleyball Team. Fuller earned first team honors and will be invited to play in the inaugural Under Armour All-America High School Volleyball Match and Skills Competition on Dec. 21 at the Qwest Center in Omaha, Neb.

The 6-2 senior is a 2008 Volleyball Magazine Fab 50 selection and rated as the No. 9 prospect in the nation by Prep Volleyball.com.

Fuller earned 2007 San Diego Union Tribune All-San Diego section second team honors as a junior and was named to the 17 and Under All-Tournament Team at the 2008 USA Junior Girls Volleyball Championships. Her club team finished third at the Junior Olympics. She also earned North County Times all-county first team honors.

As of Nov. 11, La Costa Canyon was ranked as the No. 2 team in the nation in the ESPN RISE Girls Volleyball National FAB 50 poll with a 29-1 record. Her high school squad won the CIF San Diego championship.
