THIS SEASON: Tumua Anae enters her second season at USC as an athletic and rangy goalie in line to share time in the cage.
2007: Anae capped up for 14 games as a true freshman, tallying 89 saves and allowing 67 goals... Averaged 5.2 saves and 3.9 goals against per game...Set a career high with 11 saves in USC's 12-7 win over California on Apr. 13, and had 10 saves in the NCAA Third Place victory San Diego State on May 13.
HIGH SCHOOL: Anae was named the CIF Division II Co-Player of the Year as a senior at Corona del Mar High...Was also named to the All-Orange County and Pacific Coast League first teams... Named league Goalkeeper of the Year... Team won the CIF titles in 2005 and 2006... Also swam for CDM's 2004 and 2006 CIF title-winning teams... Playing club with SoCal, won the 18-under Junior Olympics in 2006.
PERSONAL: Anae is majoring in broadcast journalism... Parents are Allen and Annabel...
