RECAP: USC got three goals from Eszter Gyori and Moriah Van Norman in recording a 12-6 win over CS Northridge. The Trojans jumped to a 5-1 lead after one quarter, with Van Norman scoring twice, but CSN fought back to pull to within 5-3 at the half. USC put the game away by out-scoring the Matadors 3-1 in the third quarter. The Beach jumped to a 4-0 halftime lead as Braden scored two second period goals. After a UCI goal to begin the third quarter, the 49ers scored four consecutive goals in the span of 1:49 to take a commanding 8-1 lead. 49er goalie Bri Hawkins finished with seven saves, while her counterpart Sunceray Chamblee had 10 saves. Robyn Kaake led UCI with three goals.
