TROJAN CLUB OF THE DESERT
President's Message
Greetings! With over 1500 Trojan alumni living here in the desert, we are excited to be able to support the development of Trojan Athletics from our special vantage point, just two hours from Los Angeles. Our mission as one of the regional Trojan Clubs is to specifically help raise funds and generate excitement about USC athletic programs. The desert is growing and thriving not only as a breeding ground for future USC Trojan students and alumni, but also as an area with heightened awareness of Trojan athletics and accomplishments. We enjoy fantastic working -- and playing -- relationships with the USC Alumni Club of the Desert (general membership for desert Trojan Alumni) and the Trojan League of the Desert (a group of dedicated Trojan alumni who raise and support scholarships for needy incoming USC students each fall). The Trojan Club of the desert looks forward to some great events in 2008, and we invite you to join us, whether you live here year-round or are just visiting this little piece of paradise! We are proud to be part of such a first-class University on all levels, and we thank you for your support. FIGHT-ON!

Event Details
| The sixth annual Marv Goux Memorial Golf Tournament will take place on Monday, April 7, 2008, at Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert, California. All proceeds will benefit the Marv Goux Memorial Endowment which will provide much needed student athletic scholarships. Approximately 120 players are expected to participate.
A luncheon and awards program with a silent auction and raffle will follow the tournament, with special guest speaker Tom Kelly (former USC broadcaster) and the Marv Goux Spirit of Troy Award being presented to USC and NFL football great Jim Hardy. Mr. Hardy's award will be presented by Michael Bozick, USC supporter and philanthropist.

Tee sponsorships are available at two levels:
* Rose Bowl for $500
* Pac-Ten for $250
Silent auction and raffle prizes are also still being sought and much appreciated.
Jay Martinovich, event chair and Trojan Club Board member, will serve as the emcee for the event.
